Sage Remedy

Just in time for the wintery weather that we have been having, Sage Remedy Top is done! I cast off over the weekend and weaved in the last end yesterday.

I absolutley adore this top! The pattern was very well written and a delight to knit.

The Eki is as always divine to work with and the resulting fabric is just so buttery soft and has the perfect drape for this top.

I am in the shop most of the day so this is just perfect for wearing over long sleeve T's.

I think there may be a cotton or cotton blend one on the cards for spring...

Tamayo Plus Taiyo Equals...

Cute!

A couple of Friday's ago I was busy unpacking a huge order when I came across the pattern book Noro Family by Jane Ellison.

I instantly fell in love with Tamayo and cast on that night using some Noro Taiyo. I made a few changes, mainly knitting it in the round so that I didn't have issues with the colour stripes matching on the side seam.

It is a little big for her now but is perfect as a tunic over some little cords and a long sleeve top.
Should fit her as a tank by the time things warm up.
Now just to catch here for an action shot...

Eco Cotton

We received our first shipment of the new (and divine!) Debbie Bliss Eco Cotton this week and of course I just had to try it out...

The range comes in 18 amazing colours, is 100% organic cotton and is from their Fairtrade Collection.

Unlike many cottons this one doesn't split or unravel into a tangled mess as you knit from it.

Off to check my queue for another excuse to try another colour!
